Talk about holding your nose and punching a ballot...

How pathetic is it, when the republican party is so bereft of qualified leaders, that citizens of New Hampshire find themselves voting for a senile warmonger who sings "Bomb, bomb bomb...Bomb bomb Iran?" And off-key, to boot?

I believe the writing is on the wall. We are going to see formerly registered republican voters switching and voting democratic in droves, come November. The republican nominee, no matter who it is won't have a ghost of a chance.

3. How do you know they aren't?
A lot of republican voters in Iowa voted democratic. I believe they (meaning a significant percentage of registered republicans around the country) feel that the only other option is to just stay home. Many will do just that, but I think we will convert a lot of people, between now and November.

2. It's dangerous to believe that.
A lot can happen between now and then.

There was a time when many of us thought "no way in hell" to Little Boots in the White House. And by hook or by crook, he's resided there the last 7 years.

Don't let your guard down.

The American people may have changed, and will no longer tolerate the abuse the GOP has forced upon us, but the powers that be like things the way they are. Remember that. ;)

4. It's quite possible that I could be premature in my assessment.
But I think I'm spotting a significant trend.

10. Hi Breeze! My god, that's huge.
Hey, I saw the Doors thread in the lounge. Great stuff. Was going to post another Doors video, but liked The End the best, so....

11. I thought that song was on target for today but
wish you had added your favorite too! ;)

It is huge, isn't it? :D

And 92% of Independents voted Democratic also, according to local Boston TV political expert.

6. What are you saying precisely, no need to vote?

8. From which I should infer as a casual observer that I need not be bothered to vote.

9. And why would you think that.? Why would you infer from my
observation of the republicans, that I would even suggest that citizens cavalierly toss away their franchise to vote?

Just to be crystal clear, I have voted in every election, since I became old enough to vote, back in the mid '70's. I believe that everyone who has the right to vote, has a moral obligation to do so. I also believe that everyone has a moral obligation to vote their conscience.

I was just making an observation as to the complete disarray of the republican party. No need to read anything else into that.
