In 1992, Bill Clinton didn't win a primary or caucus until Georgia, which was March 3.

February 10: Iowa -Harkin easy win
February 18: New Hampshire -Tsongas win
February 25: South Dakota -Kerrey’s only win
March 3: Colorado, Georgia, Maryland; also Minnesota, Idaho caucuses -the latter two go to Harkin; Colorado to Brown, Maryland to Tsongas, Georgia to Clinton

As we all know, he won the nomination and 8 years of the White House.

I've gotten a few emails today with screaming caps enclosed telling me it's all over, and I just don't think it is yet. One never knows what will happen.

Go on supporting your candidate of choice to your fullest. Send them your hard earned money, especially those who so need it.

Nothing is over. It's only January 7!

1. I'm amused by that

The game is really just starting, and everyone is trying to call it.

All I would bet on are these two things:

1. Bush will try to force a war with Iran before the election

2. If item 1 fails, the final nominee will the corp favorite

2. But Harkin won Iowa and Tsongas won NH

So, yes, people have lost Iowa and/or New Hampshire and still won the nomination, but no one has ever won Iowa and NH and lost the nomination. I can't cite years or candidates, it's been mentioned before on the board, but I'm sure we'll hear all about them late tomorrow and Wednesday.

3. anyone who understands the reality of politics

will know that the race is far, far from over. Anything can happen, the only constant is change and the media makes sure that a candidate's momentum doesn't last forever. The "Fall" of someone sells many more magazines and brings in many more viewers than their "Rise".

All about Hillary and Obama - no Edwards. Again.

I hope the NH people take note and the corporate MSM tactics backfire.

To be fair, they only focused on McCain and Romney on the repub side. Guess they can't handle any contests involving more than two people.

Let's see if George S. mentions Edwards....waiting, waiting....talking about the Clinton campaign perhaps bringing in "new blood" and strategy against Obama.

They don't know about super delegates. They don't know how delegates are determined.
