3. By Economy I mean ...

By economy I mean that we have to return to unilateral trade deals in order to force "fair trade" agreements.

36. Exactly
Publicly funded elections, standardized paper ballots and tough conflict of interest laws in Congress (regarding lobbyists, even longer waiting periods before taking jobs in the private sector, etc.) would fix SO MANY of the problems we face.

These things would fundamentally improve the quality of our democracy in my opinion, moreso than any particular candidate ever could. And for that matter, it would increase the quality of all future presidential/congressional candidates.

if we change education and properly educate the majority of the masses then maybe we can get everything else fixed? although that would take a generation or so.

37. All of the above...
How could I decide which is more important when they are all connected? If I had to choose one, I'd say corruption, but that's batshit, we'll never get rid of that. So, I'll vote for the person that will deliver all of the above.

39. all the same issue
The Republicans know where the battle lines are drawn, and never lose sight of them and never waver from their purpose.

Anything and everything that aids the every day person is to be crippled or destroyed. Anything and everything that helps the privileged few is to be promoted and strengthened. That is their program. I defy anyone to find a significant exception.

Once we have the same clarity as to the nature of the battle and the same determination to fight that battle as our adversaries do, the threat from the right wing will be over very quickly. So long as we haggle amongst ourselves over these issues, and what is "more important to us" they will continue to roll over us.

We are talking about millions of people being steadily ground down, sinking into fear and desperation, insecurity and want. We are talking about millions without health care, on the street, going hungry, without meaningful work, without hope.

This is a life and death struggle we are in, not a matter of personal preferences and feelings about "my positions" on the "issues" that are "most important to me."

It is not about me at all, or any of us as individuals.
