I liked Edwards tonight
He stood out and I enjoyed listening to him.

Obama also lost no ground in my opinion.

Hillary wasn't at her best but she was a head an shoulders above anyone I saw in the Republican debate.

I've decided I don't like Richardson so I won't give comments on him since they'd be tainted.

All in all we did very well tonight. It was a good night to be a Democrat. :toast:

1. I really liked Edwards as well.
I voted for him in the '04 primaries too.

I think each candidate had his or her moments tonight, even Bill RIchardson. I have to have a soft spot in my heart for him for how he stepped up for the Texas Senators.

4. They did all have their good moments
Some just reached me more than others, which is as it should be. This is just my very uneducated opinions.

You know I love ya David, but I still don't want Richardson for president. :P

6. Oh, I don't want him to be president either.
But I do have a soft spot for him. My dad LOVES him.

I do wish Kucinich had been invited though, just for completeness.

11. I like having Kucinich in the debates too
He broadens the debate with his presence, which is what I enjoy about him and why I was glad he threw his hat in the ring again.

I was just kidding you about Richardson, I didn't really think you wanted him for president. :P

I've never admitted this here before but my mom's choice was Gravel.

13. My mom is for Hillary.
I love having Democrats for parents. The only political arguments we have are about who hates Bush more. :D

OT: How are you doing? Things going well?

19. It is great isn't it?
Especially living in Texas. Where most of my Democratic friends can't say the same. Bless their poor little hearts. :P

I'm great. My Daughter is...get this...a Junior in college now! Wow, how time flies. Work is slowing down a bit, but that's normal for this time of year. Other than that I can't complain, which is more than several I know.

How about you? Tell me, have the fates have been being kind to you?

20. It is getting great to be a Democrat here too!
I'm glad you're well. I cannot believe your daughter is a Junior already. It seems like just yesterday that she was graduating high school. Time does fly. Wow.

Things are good for me. I had a couple of small rough patches, but nothing serious. Now, things are going really well.

It was really good seeing you tonight. I'm getting offline. Have a good night! :hi::pals:

2. I particularly liked seeing his parents in the audience.
Seeing them made his "story" stand out as real ... those are a pair of HARD-working folks. Edwards is more than hair.

5. Yeah, he's more than the hair and always has been
I never have taken any of the trivial negative stuff to heart. I hope I never do.

Seeing his parents helped bring it home for me also.

17. That is a nice piece of information. His parents were in the
audience. Were any other candidates parents in the audience?

8. I agree that Clinton was better than the Republicans
...but Edwards won me over. I still want Gore, but I am convinced that Edwards can do what needs to be done.

I made an incorrect assumption regarding your gender. That happens to me sometimes, because I never click on profiles. <---too lazy

27. Don't apologize
I've been assumed to be a man here more than a woman.

I find no fault in it as I've done the same myself.

16. In my view, Obama was not at his best but he did well.
Edwards did better than I expected and Hillary did predictably well. Whoever wins the nom gets my support.
