Obama/Edwards for President 2008
I don't really care who is prez and vice prez of these two but I have been wanting to see this ticket since early last year. I think the two would present a formidable front against the republican onslaught that is sure to come.

Obama\Edwards

or

Edwards/Obama

Changing America for the Better

1. Edwards is not going to be anyone's VP running mate
He already was a VP running mate, three years ago.

14. Why wouldn't he be willing to take it again?
Unless he's the nominee, I think that Edwards would gladly take the VP spot. Absolutely. It would put him in very good position to run for president again in 4 or 8 years, and he's still a young man.

5. I think he would if he has a good chance of winning
and I think this ticket would be a winner. They all say they have no interest in the vice presidency when they are running for President but when push comes to shove, I don't think many would refuse it. Plus, springboard to the presidency.

4. Nice thought, but no.
Edwards was our nominee in '04 and didn't add a lot to the ticket (if he were top of the ticket, maybe, but not as a vp). Also, in elective politics Obama actually has more experience than Edwards and people say that Obama doesn't have enough--but I think Obama needs to go with somebody with more stature and experience maybe Biden, Richardson or Gen. Clark.

7. Ummm, is it me or didn't Biden and Richardson
just collectively draw less than 3%?

Their experience didn't seem to result in alot of support in Iowa, or anywhere else for that matter.
