We caucus at the town community center (with the republicans next door! I hope they are humiliated by our numbers!)
It can be noisy, but usually just a low hum - like a school cafeteria.
It starts at 6:30 CST tonight.
It ends when it's over (probably after a couple hours, max).
Some campaigns bring refreshments. Sadly, alcohol-free. :( I can be bought, but not with chips and soda! LOL!

I phone banked on my vacation day yesterday (for Edwards, of course).

My pal and I arranged free child care at the church next door to the caucus location.

I'm caucus secretary tonight - my pal is caucus chair - whee! We're both a bit nervous, due to the expected huge turnout.

I've explained the caucus process to a bunch of newbies who have never attended and are nervous (mostly Obama supporters).

I've fielded ENDLESS canned phone calls reminding me to caucus and asking for my support. (and oh! the campaign lit in my mailbox!)

The Smithwick's is on ice in the fridge for afterward! :)

Maybe we should have those phony confessional things where the candidates confide to the camera their innermost thoughts about thier opponents. That would be fun.

It's hard to take seriously and event which involves a tiny portion of the voters in a small state where the African American population doubles whenever the Obama family campaigns together but that's what we have to work with so we might as well enjoy it.

I'm downing a nice strong Manhattan right now and since tomorrow will absolutely suck at work I might as well have a few more.
