22. I understand
I just keep hoping that people will get a clue and give Beck the ratings he deserves (you know, the kind that are marked by an asterisk because they are so low).

3. Creepiest TV Moment. EVER. Glenn Beck just told Ron Paul he wanted to
French Kiss him. Said, "You had me at no taxes." Paul looked very uncomfortable and there was an awkward moment of embarassed silence. This is a rerun but I'm obviously bored today.

4. I guess Glenn looked deep into
Ron Paul's soul and found a soulmate. I had to turn the channel, once was enough for me.

7. I'm going to have to go with Beck. Total nutjob that belongs in an asylum. Paul, on some
issues, actually makes a bit of sense. Beck is just a moronic bigot.

5 seconds of his smarmy condescending insanity and I'm ready to go "Elvis" on my t.v. I hate that man more than O'Reilly.

9. Not just LIbertarians but Mormon Libertarians!
Okay, he didn't say that, but I wouldn't be surprised if he had.

The Mormon church likes to re-baptize dead people into their faith for various reasons. Do you think they've done that just so they can let their congregations know the founding fathers are all now gods ruling over other planets as proper Mormons?

10. Ya know...I was okay with it, thought it was just another flavor
of Christianity. Big tent and all. Then I learned ya...they get their OWN PLANET and get to rule over it as a God!

I mean, dam, who wants to sit on a cloud and strum a harp for eternity - when you can fuck with the inhabitants of your very on planet!

11. I suspect libertarian
had a whole different meaning back when our founding fathers were creating a government. I doubt they invisioned big money and corporations taking control of the government.

Small non interferring government is a terrific idea in theory. I just don't see the special interests looking out for anyone but themselves so if we need government to keep them under control (not that that is really working all that well) so be it.

18. Some of them were LEFT libertarians. Some were Protestant business class elitists (Roundheads).
And many were planter-class elitists
(a competing business class from a
competing religious-cultural background.)

The left libertarians like Jefferson
who convinced the business class elitists
to revolt were following the lead of the
Boston mob, which was decidedly
left-libertarian, not right-libertarian.

The right one. Just like he believes in two kinds of people.

23. Glen Beck got a 5 yr contract for $50 Mill.
The people that gave him that contract believe that he
has a following that is worth that amount of money or it's a tax write off
for them. He is entertaining & controversial. He is loved & hated. That is
what radio & tv is about isn't it? I have watched him several times & find him to
be repulsive. Now I don't watch him. If no listened to his radio show or tuned in
to his tv show how long would he still be on those mediums?
