Following is a statement from a clip shown on CNN a few minutes (~ 45 min. ago) after the Pakistan news conference that stated Bhutto died from striking her head. The person speaking was indicated as "Dr. Mussadeq Khan, Doctor who treated Bhutto" on the banner below, and the statement occurred after an editing cut.

"But yes it was a big wound, that usually occurs when something big, with a lot of speed, hits that area".

Now, about 15 min. ago, CNN showed the clip with the Dr. again (the earlier part where he discussed Bhutto's condition at admission) but they left out the part with the statement above.

Wasn't there a time when the job of the media was to fact check, to point out and dissect discrepancies, and not parrot the party line?

Apparently, the word went out, the coverage was adjusted. Can't do any controversial 'reporting', after all.

2. But why does it matter?
Seriously. The first report said he shot her twice, then blew himself and the place up. (Which was smart of him because her supporters would have torn him to tiny bits anyway.) Then it's a bomb wound. Now it's hitting her head (not buying that one even a little) with NO autopsy?

Why is it necessary to fudge the cause of death? What are the implications involved in one death or another?

With JFK, I understand that they needed people to believe in the Lone Gunman so we wouldn't think conspiracy. But I don't get what they're trying to do with Bhutto's assassination.

4. Some people might feel that this latest story makes her appear less of a martyr.
Accidentally bumping your head isn't nearly as noble and heroic
as being killed by gunfire or a bomb.

That's just a guess, of course. My opinion will probably change
again the next time the "official story" does. :eyes:

3. We've hit the point where the "official" information is all bullshit.
They always figure that the public can't handle the truth, no matter what the truth is. If she died from the explosion, they'll say it was a gunshot. If she died from a gun shot wound, they'll say it was poison or from a broken heart.
