Newsflash: Only three candidates qualify

to be on the ballot for the Presidential Primary in the dinkiest state with the longest name: The State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.

They each need 1000 signature to qualify. The deadline is Wednesday.

The three candidates who qualify thus far are Clinton, Obama, and Ghouliani.

I called my favorite candidate's office and got a woman who said, "What's a Rhode Island?" Then she miraculously gave me contact info for a local rep.

Yikes.
