1. That's funny. Have you heard Telemarketer's Revenge??
It's a real guy who plays pranks on telemarketers. I laughed so hard when I heard this I cried and my stomach hurt for days !

2. That was pretty funny...
Although really, it's not the telemarketers themselves that deserve the treatment, it's their companies. A lot of them are only doing the job 'cause it's the only thing they can get. Like fast food employees. Can't really blame a person for tryin to pay the bills (but it would definitely be my last choice of a job, even below McDonalds.)

3. That one reminds me of the time I called for our college.
It was their annual fundraising telethon thing, and they offered free phone calls anywhere in the U.S. if we worked for a few hours. I have family all over, so I took my address book and went down to the office. Well, their lists hadn't been updated in awhile, and I got a few people who'd died. Then there was the gentleman who had come home to change clothes and eat something after visiting his sick wife in the hospital. He started crying, saying she'd always given to our (evangelical Christian) college. I didn't know what to do, so I asked him what was wrong, and he told me all about her and how sick she was and how scared he was that she was going to die. I felt so bad that I asked him if he wanted to pray with me, and he said yes, so I prayed with him on the phone for a few minutes. It was all on the college's dime, and I didn't care if I didn't meet my quota.

I've often wondered since how many of the dead people on the list really were. I've considered telling telemarketers that Hubby's died. Usually, though, I just tell them he's in the hospital (he's a doctor, but they don't know that) and we can't be bothered.

8. Ah, geez. My cat saw that.
Now, he wants me to get the squirrels in our yard drunk to level the playing field.

I'll have to think about that.
