Impeachment is no longer a viable option...but prosecution IS
The political reality is that impeachment is not an option (there are to many reps in the House, as well as 'Dixiecrats' and to few Dems in the Senate to stop a filibuster). However it is a very realistic view that sufficient evidence can be found to PROSECUTE the main leaders in this administration, once they are out of office.

A disturbing possibility exists however that such investigations as would be needed to be made by the DOJ will not be allowed to take place. The most glaring one, and the most publicly stated one is the Obama pledge last August in So. Carolina that the DOJ would NOT be ordered to investigate past administrations, on the grounds it would be inflammatory and fly against his theme of 'reaching out' and working in a bi-partisan fashion in all matters. As for other candidates one is left to try and devinate from their multitudinous statements just how they would handle this issue if elected.

I know this will inflame some Obama supporters, but all they have to do is google hios So. Carolina speeches (it was the one made the day before his famous appearance and sermon at the church. I believe all this occured in Charlottesville.

1. It doesn't inflame me. I know Obama will say anything and everything
he thinks people want to get elected.

But the thing is, the DOJ would not have anything to do with bush being prosecuted AFTER he left office. And after he leaves office, we won't have Murkyvision as AG.

2. Any Evidence Will Be Gone By The Time They Are Out Of Office
And immunities will be granted and laws will be repealed.

Nobody is going to jail.

3. Please, please....
someone say there is a chance in hell that SOMEONE can/will do SOMETHING about their crimes, even if it's authorities in other countries, and that it will happen in THIS lifetime.

6. No.
They are going to escape with all their criminal acts intact and safe. There will be no investigations and no prosecutions, no matter who wins the Presidency. There is no justice.

7. Several things you can be sure of; George Bush will never go
to prison; Dick Cheney will never go to prison; Condoleeza Rice will never go to prison; Alberto Gonzalez will never go to prison; Donald Rumsfeld will never go to prison; Karl Rove will never go to prison. None of this crowd will ever go to prison, it just isn't in the cards. If all else fails, Bush will pardon everyone on his last day in office. The best we can hope for is to make sure that the American people realize what has been done to them by this administration. I doubt, though, that even this can be accomplished. These people control just too much of the media and educational systems in this country.
