| Why hasn't Duncan Hunter's campaign caught on? |
|
The only reason I can think of is that the House is a poor springboard from which to run for president. The last House member elected president was James Garfield in 1880.
He has all the conservative positions on the issues, experience as Armed Services committee chairman and military experience. He also seems to be the Freepers' favorite candidate.

right now between the fiscal conservatives (a.k.a corporate whores) and the fundies.
Duncan would have been a compromise. Be glad he is over looked.

even for right wingers. No one outside his district even knows who he is and that should tell you something---he is unremarkable.

Caught on. You just can't run for President from the House. There is no power base.
