I'm starting to really think that the Writers Guild strike is hurting us. I know people have posted about it before, and I thought I'd keep the conversation going.
How pleased must the candidates be, and MSM, to not have the likes of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert there to show them up for what they really are?
Dose anyone know any new info on when we can hope for negotiations? This has got to be a RW dream. Other than the MSM, and we know the kind of job they do, there is now no one to act as a "peoples watchdog."
Your thoughts?

| 2. Frankly I hope that the writer's strike last long enough |

That it will drive the populace from out in front of the tube, and into more constructive things, like reading, getting to know each other, outdoor activities, etc. etc.
I find that I can get along perfectly well without television, I have various sources for getting the news, and frankly I don't miss the humor angle all that much.
