Notice the oppression and fascist actions of the police.
Not much different than today. Cops just use tasers and
rubber bullets instead of saps and billy sticks.
The Peekskill Riots happened in 1949. The Progessive
fight has been going on for 58 years!!!!!

The question is, which of our candidates is the candidate
that will bring the 'hammer of justice' back to the Hill?
Who will ring the 'bell of freedom' again in America?

8. We got to meet Pete Seeger at one of the

Vancouver Folk Felsivals. He and Utah Philips came shopping at our vendors booth. We make flutes and ocarninas. He chose an ocarina and told us that he learns a new instrument every year, and that OUR ocarina would be his instrument of that year. No higher honor have we had! He was amazing on stage, too! (I would have chosen from the harp maker next door had I been him.) hahhahaha

It is one of my favorite memories.

3. CD : Where Have All the Flowers Gone

In 1998, the CD Where Have All the Flowers Gone was released. It's a double CD where various artists sing songs that were written/co-written by Pete Seeger. The last song on the album is sung by Pete, "And Still I Am Searching". I'm guessing that he was about 80 years old then, his voice is scratchy and just about gone, but he's still singing, still hoping, and still searching.
