that he trusts the market more than he trusts government. Why the fuck is he running? What the fugg happened to government of the people, for the people and by the people. Rethugs are government for the market - the rich corporations.

And Republicans who run on that platform are running on getting the Government out of the markets way.

In the late 1800s and early 1900s, the country was split between progressives who wanted government regulation against monopolies and corrupt business practices and liberals who favored laissez-faire economic policy, basically the idea that markets can regulate themselves without government intervention.
