CIA Torture Tapes Destroyed--withholding court ordered info...deja vu

I've been mentally blocked from writing about this latest scandal because it is giving me flashbacks. On December 6, the New York Times revealed that in 2005 the CIA destroyed at least two videotapes of interrogations involving severe interrogation techniques that took place in 2002. This was the same time period in which a judge had ordered all Justice Department correspondence related to the interrogation of "American Taliban" John Walker Lindh. You remember the famous trophy photo of Lindh--also a CIA catch--naked, blindfolded, tied up and bound to a board . . . My e-mail advising against interrogating him without a lawyer "disappeared." So all of this sounds hauntingly familiar.

How long is this criminality going to go on in our government? Destruction of evidence is not only a crime in most these matters but treason. The MO fits the present administration perfectly.

People are still looking for proper investigations and documents from 911.
