How to refute a Creationist with a bucket of feces

It was too good to just leave it in the lounge.

11. You mean for the good of Tyler?
Still, fat-ass soap and buckets of s*** are apparently needed to get some people to stop thinking what they are told to think.

Btw, many heads with teeth, but gender = male last time I checked

3. Nice
Hey, no one ever directly observed "creation" yet they all say that happened. What gives?

7. YES Jesus Loves Me, THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO!!!
I wonder if God reads the Bible and gets laughs like we would reading Heller or Vonnegut.

9. I love the circular reasoning of the whole thing
God exists. How do we know? It says so in the Bible. How do we know the Bible is true? It says so in the Bible.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

10. My favorite: "God said it. I believe it. THAT settles it."
Whatever happened to putting people who HEAR GOD SPEAK, OUT LOUD, where they belong: in protective custody at the local asylum?

13. Hey, if I saw/heard god
I'd at least listen...but doubtful if I'd tell someone else. Besides, what self respecting god would talk to these people? Whoever they're talking to is apparently desperate.

17. Tsk, tsk
You basher!

Why is it that a person claims God speaks to them and people generally think nothing of it, or even consider them blessed/holy. But if a person claims God speaks to them through their radio suddenly they need to be put in a under psychiatric treatment or even put in a hospital? The mere addition of an appliance to the equation can be the difference between a person becoming a religious leader (or even president) and being locked up as "mentally ill".

21. You're kidding, right?
I'm sorry but I firmly believe that anyone who says to me that "God said to me this morning...." either needs or has not been taking their medication.

14. We See All Too Much of This Right Here, On DU, IMO
I've lost count of the times I've found myself arguing with someone who will refute anything they don't like. Today it's gone beyond "no one observed it" to "I didn't observe it," for pigheads on both sides.

19. AMEN to that my friend
As a Christian myself, last thing I want is some fundie baptist telling me how to live. I want freedom to practice my faith in my own way, if I want to be restricted in what I do I will set my own limits - don't need someone setting them for me.

Separation of church and state for a more free America.

20. that's not a very good refutation
Because the sh*t got on the house through intelligent, albeit malicious, design. In this analogy, wouldn't the evolutionist be the one who tried to find a theory for the exrement on the house, that did not involve an intelligence? Clearly the cartoon and the character in the cartoon do not refute creationists, but perhaps point to the fact that so many defenders of evolution cannot neatly summarize the 'irrefutable evidence' which supports evolution and that they would much rather angrily fling feces. I guess whichever side is more hateful and contemptuous of their oponents wins the argument. Gotta love logic like that.

23. Basically it refutes the "direct observation" cannard.
Some things should not be expected to address all aspects of a huge and silly argument. Like a three panel cartoon.
