Unbelievable--but predictable. Faux outrage at American Girl dolls being made in China
Investigative Report on Channel 11 in Dallas now. :eyes: Ridiculous.
Can people not read a box?
EVERYTHING is Made in China.
Oh...and remember...American Girl supports Women and Girls programs that don't include abstinence programs. It was just a matter of time before someone tried to smear them because they are UN-GAWDLY.

1. our kids are getting playmobil brio and other toys not made in china this year
Due to the cost, they may not get as much, but at least I know it won't poison them.

2. wasn't the Barbie Doll manufactured in Taiwan?
No one complained about that. Looks like Dallas tv just had a slow news day.

4. Barbies are now made in China
but yes, you are correct. They have been manufactured in every Asian country.
By the way, if you find any that were manufactured in Japan, they are very collectible and very valuable.
No matter what condition.:)

7. American Girl was purchased by Mattel some years back
And they have manufactured everything overseas (mostly China, Malaysia, Mexico) since about 1987. So this should come as no surprise to anyone.
