Poll question: "IF" Al runs, can he win and if so, will you vote for him?
Edited on Mon Dec-10-07 02:15 PM by Texas Explorer
I mean, I can't remember a situation where a potential candidate has jumped in literally at the very last moment, much less go on to win the Presidency. Is this possible - to miss so much of the campaigning and primaries and still win? If so, is Al Gore the man that can do it?

1. I think it is too late now and would only cause confusion and split the vote.
I would have said yes up until a month ago.

4. He can win if he picks the right running mate
like Clark or Obama. but seeing as Clark has endorsed Hillary, I doubt he's interested.

10. Since he has already won once, and has risen further in stature,
he would certainly win in 2008. If there was ever a man made for the times we are in, it is Al Gore. If the Democratic contest becomes an embittered deadlock, Gore will step in - to be nominated by acclamation at the Convention. Obama will nominate him and Hillary will second it. (well, maybe but it could happen.)

12. I did not support any Dem during the primaries in 2004 and will not next year - but
if Gore were to enter the race, he would be my candidate.

14. He already did win, and yes, I'd vote for him again,
not that voting really matters all that much in light of things.
