34. Remember blue eyes come from a recessive gene

So it has to have come from both parents, which makes the "remote Caucasian ancestry" hypothesis more likely. Unless somehow it's a different gene that causes the same effect and it's dominant.

my best guy friend is jamaican, dark skin, obviously of african descent, and he has blue eyes. i've known him for almost 20 years and only found out his eyes were blue about 2 years ago (he wears tinted glasses)! neither of his parents had blue eyes...

However, you can tell the real thing opposed to the contacts.

I also had a co worker with naturally blonde hair. She said she was teased unmercifully about it by other children while growing up.
