while they showed a clip of him ranting in the Senate against the Democrats' anti-surge position. Obviously CNN is trying to make viewers think the Dems are divided, and some support the resident.

My guess is that Richardson couldn't see the graphic. If Blitzer had said "Democrat" Richardson would have contradicted him, and the gig would have been up. Sneaky bastards.
