Virginia War Museum & Propaganda Posters Collection: "Vaccinate for Victory"...
... "Innoculate for Invincibility," and other memes that the Clinton Campaign might want to consider as they wrestle with how to triangulate the release of the currently-secret donor lists...

If you're ever in the Tidewater area of Virginia, as I was recently, this is a great stop: the http://www.warmuseum.org/">Virginia War Museum. The wartime posters alone are worth the trip. Also, if you're ever in Alexandria, Virginia (my adopted hometown), there is a great shop on the west end of King Street that has an old-fashioned storefront window, displaying many originals of these same kinds of posters. The proprietor has been opening the shop less and less lately, but it's got these great stick-out windows like old Main Streets.

Some of those empowerment posters helped uncork the genie during World War II (e.g., Rosie the Riveter). America's life has been richer ever since.

1. Incredible collection
of WWII posters and paraphernalia at the WWII Museum in New Orleans. If you email the museum for info you will get a reply from Rosie the Riveter.

2. My First Trip to Norleans...
... hasn't happened yet. My brother loves that city, and already has a loooooong list of "must sees" for me once I make it down there. I'll definitely add this. Thanks!!!
