Keith Olbermann goes on record about something very important.
I don't want this thread to get locked, so I'll just say that if you missed the #1 story on KO's Countdown tonight, he was reading portions of Tom Tomorrow's latest comic about Bill O'Reilly aloud. Including the last panel.

And that's all I'm going to say about it. Or about what he does afterward.

If you missed it, catch it on the rerun. You won't be sorry.

2. that might've been the best Olbermann ever, with an actually fanTAStic number one story.
also, one of the very best Tom Tomorrows ever, if that's not too much of a spoiler

I have one of his printed up on photo paper, framed, on my LR wall.

wonder if I can find it online......

Olbermann: On waterboarding and torture - Countdown with Keith Olbermann - MSNB…

Nov 7, 4:35am 17 reviews politics • http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21644133/

From the page: "And they waterboarded him. And he wrote that even though he knew those doing it meant him no harm, and he knew they would rescue him at the instant of the slightest distress, and he knew he would not die â€" still, with all that reassurance, he could not stop the terror screaming from inside of him, could not quell the horror, could not convince that which is at the core of each of us, the entity who exists behind all the embellishments we strap to ourselves, like purpose and name and family and love, he could not convince his being that he wasn't drowning."

This, however, was one of his great comic moments. Do not miss it.

25. Goddamned Hilarious, best yet! Thanks for posting
Don't know if a lot of people realize this, but it was my site, Takebackthemedia.com that I belive led O'Liely to Boycott France - soon after I appeared on his show when with the help of DU'rs when we boycotted the Hell out of Rush Limbaugh...

Tom, it's one of your most Brilliant, but NO DU mention? :)

9. Someone posted the comic yesterday.
All by itself, it's hilarious, but Keith's partial reading of it added, shall we say, "the finishing touch" to the last panel.

And Crooks & Liars is bound to put it up, not to mention a zillion other outlets online, very soon.

21. POP QUIZ ...
Let's see if you've been paying attention!

1. Who has a bigger penis, Bill O'Reilly or Keith Olbermann?

2. What's the difference between a loofah and a falafel? Discuss and memorize.

3. Explain why you can't trust anything you read on the Internet about me, Bill O'Reilly.

22. I'm so relieved to hear that Keith doesn't have a tiny penis
I love the pounding that KO gives O'Reilly (so to speak) as the next person, but we may have reached the limit.

What, I wonder, would Olbermann's hero, Edward R. Murrow, think of Keith's implication that he has a snake that would befuddle Sir Mix-A-Lot?

And what would the inhabitants of the eternally offended Women's Issues forum make of such an objectifying statement?

Should we encourage a pay-for-view special where Keith and Bill undress, and massage each other to near-happy-ending, and measure each other before the cameras?

Keith Olbermann is an important voice of truth. But he has cheapened himself with his obsession with O'Reilly, and especially by implying that his dick is bigger than O'Reilly's.

Excuse the expression, but Olbermann should be a bigger man than that.

24. Three words, Syrinx, from a feminist:
"Lighten up, Francis."

Oh, and I bet Edward R. Murrow was hung like a horse and only wished he could get away with saying so on TV.

Edited on Sat Dec-01-07 02:57 PM by rocknation
The Rethugs count on Dems being too "honorable" and "peace-loving" to retaliate at all (ever mind in kind), and they use that as their basis for accusing Dems of being "weak on defense." The only chance you have of repelling a bully is to get him worried about your bullying him back. So I say go, Keith, go!

38. It probably is that the butts of KO jokes
are themselves "extremely low-brow and poorly delivered."

Form follows function.

IOW, there's not a damn thing high class or high brow about Bill O'Reilly.
