A beard is a woman used by a gay man to present a heterosexual facade, such as Larry Craig's wife or Laura Bush. My first thought on seeing your subject was, "Crimeny, yet another gay sex scandal? It appears that they are deliberately avoiding each other's gaze, and they are shaking hands at arm's length.

My read? Ghoul sensed a camera nearby and grabbed Andrew for a ophoto-op. There's just no sincerity there whatsoever, especially in Ghoul's smile.

I'm of course aware that this was a moment, that we don't know what preceded or followed the moment, but this looks very strange and a little disturbing.
