4. Seen the movie, seen the play, read the script,...
...saw a couple of the remakes. Even half-assed "made for TV" treatments couldn't screw up the essential quality of the work. One of my all time favorites. The movie is great.

5. I love that movie
I used force my friends to watch that movie just so that we could have a conversation about it.

It is a great movie to watch with friends while discussing things and having tea so something.

7. Inherit the Wind is
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inherit_the_Wind

Inherit the Wind is a fictionalized account of the 1925 Scopes "Monkey" Trial, which resulted in John T. Scopes' conviction for teaching Charles Darwin's theory of evolution to a high school science class, contrary to a Tennessee state law that proscribed the teaching of anything besides creationism.

The fictional characters Matthew Harrison Brady, Henry Drummond, Bertram Cates and E. K. Hornbeck correspond to the historical figures of William Jennings Bryan, Clarence Darrow, John Scopes, and H. L. Mencken, respectively.

Despite numerous similarities between the play and history, the play was not intended as a documentary-drama about the Scopes trial, but as a warning about the evils of McCarthyism.

18. Thanks, Az!
I just finished watching both Part 1 and Part 2. During Part 1, I could feel my blood pressure rise. Creationists really piss me off.

The videos are excellent. Thanks again!

to another evolution rabble rouser, Dr. Howard Day. He challenged authority at a biblical college only a few years after the Scopes trial. Brave guy.
