Yet ANOTHER reason to despise William Donohue...
My adopted homebase of New York City has a Museum of Sex--since 2002, the first and now only museum of its kind in the United States, now that the Hollywood Erotic Museum in LA has closed due to lack of business(!) and the one in Miami Beach seemingly devoted to erotic art, not sex in general.

People may deny American prudery, but it seems like every other country on eath had us beat--Amsterdam's "Venus Temple" in 1985, Copenhagen's "Musuem Erotica" in 1993, Paris's "Muse de l'rotisme" in 1998, and Shanghai's "China Sex Museum" in 1999 (even the commies beat us!) Naturally, all this info comes to you from Wikipedia, which is one of the reason why it's my second favorite website to waste time on--I particularly love the description of England's sex museum, which opened just this year. "The London Academy of Sex and Relationships," unlike the other domains I've mentioned, "focuses on educational exhibits on topics such as orgasms, sexual chemistry and sexual dysfunction, rather than emphasizing erotica and pornography." You just gotta love the English...

But English frigidity is nothing compared to the ranting Neo-Puritan assholes we have in this country. Here's a quote which may explain why WILLIAM DONOHUE, he of the ever-vigilant Catholic League, is such a professionally unhappy person--

"If the Museum {of Sex}'s officials were honest, they would include a death chamber that would acknowledge all the wretched diseases that promiscuity has caused. And they would give due recognition to the role that promiscuity has played in creating poverty. But instead we can look for the museum to celebrate public sex."

Wow. And to think a guy like this isn't married...

2. That man is a deviant, plain and simple
Have you heard some of the "possible scenarios" that he comes up with to demonise gays and sex-positive practices? Sick stuff.

5. Then Donohue's "Death Chamber" should have a Rogues' Gallery
for some of the more, er, "popular" Popes (please excuse the alliteration) from the First Millenium of The Church of Rome.

7. You've got to be carefully taught
that sex is dirty, bad etc. as my mother was. Fortunately she didn't pass that on to her children but she has related to me in later years that was what her mother taught her. "Women are men's slop jars" is a saying that comes to mind. People like Donohue think sex is dirty and bad and detest their bodies drive to have it.
