Is it the norm every where in the world that murders have to be solved? I know in the US we obsess

edit to add: I'm not talking about media and murders they chose to cover. I'm talking about law enforcement attempting to solve every muder that occurs, most of which do not recieve any media attention.

Someone recently had a thread about the MSM reporting on the stereotypical "blonde haired pregnant woman missing," with the idea being, this sort of thing is used as tabloid "infotainment" in place of actual objective reporting on broader matters. When I read this person's thread, and the emphasis on the country's "obsession" with murders...

Or is it making sure "someone" pays? I don't think that finding the truth of a case is as important to prosecutors as is getting a conviction.
Maybe in some other countries there is an effort to get to the truth rather than just putting someone away.

15. It's the MEDIA obsessing, not the Public.

The Bush Administration has been BRUTAL on blondes over the past six years. I am surprised no one else has made the connection.

Every time DimSon or one of his cabal commit a capital crime, they have to send the CIA out on a "black ops" mission to "disappear" another blond girl (sometimes it's a black girl, but only if she is an honour student or college scholarship recipient) - preferably in a foreign country. Then they send in the media to stir up resentment against that nation or the kidnapper/murderer. It's all part of the "Two-Minute Hate."

It's all quite simple, really.

They've just charged someone in Britain over a murder 15 years ago, for instance:
