The Dean Scream in 2008: "We're Going to Go to Alabama...
... and Alaska, and Arkansas, and Arizona, and Colorado, and Florida, and Georgia, and Idaho, and Indiana, and Iowa, and Kansas, and Kentucky, Louisiana, and Mississippi, and Missouri, and Montana, and Nebraska, and Nevada, and New Mexico, and North Carolina, and North Dakota, and Ohio, and Oklahoma, and South Carolina, and South Dakota, and Tennessee, and Texas, and Utah, and Virginia, and West Virginia, and Wyoming, AND WE'RE GOING TO COME BACK WITH A NET GAIN OF 19 ELECTORAL COLLEGE VOTES!

YEE-HAH!!!"

If the nominee can't pull off that scream credibly, s/he should get off the stage.

1. With the "help" the media sound people gave Dean, anybody can pull off "the scream"
They admitted that the ambient noise in the room (enthusiastic supporters) made it impossible for Dean to hear himself...and that the directional mic they used made "the scream" a sound that was a lot different than what was heard by anybody else in the room.

...of course, they got their mileage out of it before they explained how it happened....

2. It'll Take a Lot More Than Fancy Mic-Work
... to pull off 270 Electoral College votes.

3. About 800 clips to
let Americans know just how crazy Dean was!

They were scared shitless and still are.

6. Crazy Like a Fox with His 50 State Strategy...
... now, if only he had the power to apply a 270-Electoral Vote litmus test to the field.

4. That whole "Dean Scream" thing was pure nonsense and I wish our side wouldn't use it.

5. I know
When I heard that scream, I immediately changed my vote during the primary when I lived in DC, voting for John Kerry instead of Howard Dean. I'm glad he's staying on the sidelines this time.

7. You're glad Dean is
staying on the "sidelines" because the corporatemediawhores manipulated his microphone and manipulated you, too?

8. Have you seen the video of what he looked & sounded like from the crowd?
A video from someone in the crowd shows the 'scream' in context at the volume that the audience heard -- and it was not a scream, at all - it was brief and appropriate and, if anything, energetic...

Please watch - the CNN tape and corporate media spin was propaganda.

Dean "scream" from the crowd
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQh0BEUlJWY&feature=related

Thom Hartmann says that a week or so before the "scream" Dean had done an interview with a major TV network and had commented that there needed to be a change in how the news reported so that people are able to get different perspectives, without the corporate aftertaste -- and the major TV anchor was shocked and horrified that Dean would criticize them. Not long afterwards the media manufactured the legend of the Dean scream.
