Boy you can't get anything past that Aruban police.

ORANJESTAD, Aruba — Aruba's chief prosecutor told FOX News that he believes Natalee Holloway is dead.

No shit Sherlock. It only took them 2 years to figure this out. Now prosecute the Bastards that killed her.

1. didn't care then, don't care now, won't care tomorrow
My condolences go out to the family who lost a daughter. That is the extent of my involvement with this.

The coverage is all out of proportion. The case has no lasting impact on my life, or the life of anyone beyond the persons directly involved.

2. Thus, you never read ANY stories of murders, accidents, and other assorted travails?
You're a better man than I, Gunga Din.

7. I read them ONCE.. That is usually enough to determine
if there is any larger issue involved. I pay attention in direct proportion to importance of any larger issue involved.

4. I am SICK and tired of all the Aruba bashing
how many hundreds of thousands Americans go missing every year?

We never hear about it, never see it on the news.

What makes Natalie so special?

8. I think Aruba is one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
Natalie could have disappeared anywhere and we would have the same story with different scenery.

10. We have a similar case here where I live
There are well over 100 murders a year here in this metro area and one family is all over the news with their sad story. It is a horrific tragedy but so are the other murders not getting media attention.

The latest is the trial date was postponed so it wouldn't begin on the anniversary of the murder. And the family of the victim is complaining that they have to change their plans because of the new trial date.

3. Do you have as much outrage at all of the police stations in the U.S. with unsolved
murders....or disappearances? I mean, really, the U.S. has the safest city's and towns and the police never ever let a case go unsolved, now do they?

And maybe we should be prosecuting a few bastards in the U.S. for their crimes? Huh? Or are we just concerned with crimes where we can point fingers and call names at others?

5. The U.S Police do not wait 2 years to say. Duh. We beleive there dead.
We at least know when we are dealing with a homicide. That was my point.

9. The wait is seven years, by law.
Holloway, without a body or evidence of a crime, is a missing person. In the US, while the police might say whatever they feel like saying, officially such a person would remain missing, not presumed dead, for seven years.

12. Exactly, it is so easy to mock other places for the way that they
do things. If we want to mock, we only need to look at what is done in this country. Aruba has no where near the crime nor expertise in dealing with a situation like this, unlike the U.S. who has much expertise and agencies that deal with nothing else, but things like this. Hell, we even have T.V. stations dealing with things like this. Easy enough to pile on an island that is extremely clean, safe and friendly because they have one horrid crime which promptly gets sensationalized by the media. I say, just look in your own backyard if you want to find injustices, stupidity, lackness....in a law enforcement agency, there is plenty.

6. No body and no suspects.
That makes it very difficult to prosecute the Bastards, even in Aruba.
