Hard not to consider Smirky McChimp the worse President in our history. But let's not forget that much of what he got done is because he's so damn lucky. He gets to be President purely on the luck of who is on the Supreme Court. Two Dem Senators die in plane crashes (no conspiracy theories please), giving him greater control in Congress. 911, a black day for America(no conspiracy theories please), enables him to push through tax cuts, a war and re-election (or a uncontested stolen election). His luck sort of ran out in 2006, but even that election gave him a 50-50 Senate (fuck you Lieberman), and allows him to continue his belligerent, destructive behavior.
Of course to say his luck has been our misfortune is an understatement.

3. He's a well protected figurehead
It's all part of the grand scheme that the republican's have been working on since Nixon. First they used an actor. Then Daddy Bush - who wasn't as compliant as they wanted the Daddy Bush's dunder head of a son.

Unless he is referring to Mel Carnahan, but he died before the 2000 election and his wife took the seat when AssKKKroft lost to a dead man.

I was thinking Carnahan died in office. My bad. But my point still holds.

5. An apathetic population = 'Luck' to this ilk of 'leader'.

That's the only thing I credit to 'luck'. Just about anything else some attribute to 'luck' has been facilitated.
