Here's a question. Does anyone believe that tainted toys are are recent development in Communist China's toy industry?

*Crickets*

And yet as I sit at KATL (Atlanta-Hartsfield) I am transfixed by report after report of tainted toys falling breathlessly from the lips of the talking bobbleheads at CNN. No, this is punishment for a wayward competitor in an effort to wreck their multi-billion dollar industry (which they stole, er, off shored from us). Think about the emotions at play here, kids, Christmas and Hannukah, Santa Claus and no toys. Now think of the decisions of the brain-dead masses regarding their spending habits this season.

Nope, this is real politik in action.
