4. Last resort. The PNAC crowd is currently trying to stage a Reagan-style coup d'etat....
Once Chavez started weaning S. America off its dependence on the U.S. and the West, you knew he was a marked man.

3. Isn't it awful when two of the Infallible Prophets disagree?
It's like Mommy and Daddy fighting.

15. billy was a big fan of the Nicaraguan contra terrorists.
so let's just say there is no respect for national sovereignty in that family.

24. Evidently it does not.
I asked you for some proof to back up your ridiculous assertion, and you said: "billy was a big fan of the Nicaraguan contra terrorists."

Sounds to me like this has nothing to do with Hillary's record "speaking for itself."

20. In Other Words, Mr. Joad
You have no reason whatever to believe this will be the case, save perhaps a touch of indigestion, or some other bilious souring of your normally ebullient and optimistic mood....

16. besides, this is america. every few years the US invades or sponsors a
coup somewhere. you think hillary is going to be any different??
Johnson went into vietnam and invaded Dominican Republic. sheesh... if she did not invade something, it would fly in the face of US tradition.

but then again, i think it more likely she may be so bogged down supporting the continued occupation of Iraq, and maybe Iran (if she does not actually take the step of invading Iran herself) that maybe chavez may be off the hook for awhile.

9. Chavez has jumped the shark.
He is trying to consolidate his power but it is backfiring on him.

Let's hope that he doesn't pull a Musharaff.
