$97,000 Top 6% - What Obama Is Missing
In CA at least, that would not put you in the top 6%. Why can't anyone in the Federal government take State/regional differences into account? I don't want to stress their brains, but is it really that hard to do?

1. Ditto, NY
And no that's not really hard to do - it already gets factored into every federal pay scale.

2. More important- what your comment seems to be missing.
The truth here is that by talking about anyone making $100,000, we are missing the truly wealthy.

the top 2% is where things dramatically increase from high salary, to investor money. As we get closer to the top 1% we start to see wealth. Real wealth. The wealth that is calling the shots for the other 99.5% of us.

Now he clearly knows this just as well as anyone else with his level of eduction and access. Why isnt it mentioned?
