CNN needs to figure out the HD

I watched the debate on HD tonight. The lighting was bad. You could see almost everyone's makeup. Unfortunately, the Democrats get screwed with this. I'm sure it will be figured out before the puke debate in 2 weeks.

7. This is a concern that has been discussed in video production circles

Aging actors and actresses, news anchors, etc. will not look good unless makeup methods are changed. In this case, the debate was shown on regular TV also, so they were made up for that (most people still have regular TVs). My guess is that future debates will not be shown in HD until this get sorted out.

I thought Biden looked awful - splotchy, uneven, way too much white powder. HD didn't do any of them any favors but Biden and Hillary fared the worst.

And you're right, I'm sure CNN will perfect the HD lighting/makeup technique in time for the GOP debate.
