Poll question: DU....Where are You? (Geographic Distribution of DU Survey)
Edited on Thu Nov-15-07 02:41 PM by marmar
As an afficionado of pointless statistics, here's a fun poll for a change: Where do you live (as in now, not where you are originally from). I apologize in advance if I didn't group your state in the geographic region you think it belongs in - it's tough with 50 of them, n'est-ce pas?

BTW, I'm checking in from the Motor City, Michigan.

May not seem like a big difference to you; but it can be fighting business over here!

A few of the Brits on DU also come from Wales or NI; but not, I think, so many.

I read lots and lots of posts from Southerners talking about what it's like to be surrounded by a "sea of red" and about having Fundie neighbors. The first person to welcome me to DU was from Arkansas, too. I'm glad you folks are here, giving me a little perspective, as I have the "luxury" of living in a fairly Liberal area.

172. Hi there!
Former Asheville resident here. I went to school at WCU and I lived in Asheville for a few years. I moved to Atlanta about six years ago and I miss Asheville terribly. I miss checking out books at Malaprops, drinking coffee at Olde Europe Cafe, getting brunch at Tupelo Honey, the cool downtown vibe, and hiking on the AT. If I could find a job there making what I do here, I would move back in a second!

that Virgina is "Mid and Deep South," and yet West-by-God-Virginia, directly to the west of the Olde Dominione, is "Mid-Atlantic?"

Always wondered about that.

And usually there's more 55-65 than 18-25.

But it's no doubt time to do another age poll, it's always interesting.
