Ardmore shooter, victim part of supremacist group

ARDMORE -- A gunman and the man he allegedly shot to death at an Ardmore apartment have been identified by law enforcement officials as members of a white supremacist group.

Bradley Qualls, 26, died after he was shot multiple times, allegedly by 37-year-old Darrell Madden, inside an apartment in northeast Ardmore.

A short time later, Madden was shot by an Ardmore police officer as he fired shots at passing motorists at an Ardmore intersection in what police believe was an attempted carjacking.

Hamblin confirmed the pair were known Skinheads and said the two had been on the
department's criminal radar screen prior to the murder.

Madden was released from prison in June 2006. He has convictions from both Oklahoma and McClain counties including two counts of obtaining money by false pretense, domestic abuse, two counts of drug trafficking and acting as a security guard without a license.

The skinhead movement originated in England, with white working class kids listening to reggae and ska. The racist skinheads showed up later.

There's still an organization of anti-racist skinheads.

14. There used to be (and may still be) a group called

Anti Racist Action (ARA) which was composed primarily of SHARP skins. The skinhead movement is rooted in the working class culture of Britain. I don't know how it became co-opted by the racists.
