but I found several references to an article that appeared in Women's Wear Daily on 2/2/07.
Maybe someone here on DU has a subscription to the magazine, and can fill us in.

My mother works as a transciptionist for the Canonical court for the local diocese. The dissolution and annulment process are much more lax than they used to be. The church readily and commonly dissolves marriages allowing divorce without sin. She is 72, has been working there for 3 decades, and is full time. So, it's obviously pretty common.

Must have been good for business.

5. Many of them are freaking hypocrites.
The "columnist" Maggie Gallagher comes to mind. She runs around the country talking about how gay people would destroy the institution of marriage, when she had something like five kids out of wedlock.
