CNN: "it was not thought to be terror related" Oh, thank gods, ineffable spirits, etc.!
LONDON, England (CNN) -- A thick plume of black smoke covered the sky over London Monday as blaze broke out in a disused warehouse on the site of the 2012 Olympics. Fire crews were investigating the cause, but it was not thought to be terror-related.

The fire sparked initial alarm in London, which was targeted with deadly attacks by Islamic extremists in 2005, but police said it was not thought to be terror related.

No, it was a freakin' FIRE in an abandoned building, just like we've been having since before recorded history. But the merchants of menace had to be sure they mentioned 'terror' TWICE in the first seven sentences to fulfill their quota.

4. yes, it would be... however it is not news that they did not
hence no need to mention it in the story, because it is irrelevant.

2. Earlier BBC had 'not terrorism as s sub-head
'Not terrorism'

The warehouse is on the western edge of the proposed site of the Olympic Village and was set to be demolished in the next few months.

The Metropolitan Police are investigating the incident but have so far discounted a terrorist motive.

This is what they have now

The Olympic Delivery Authority Chief Executive David Higgins said there would be a full investigation into the fire.

He said: "Initial indications would suggest that this was an accident rather than arson. We are in touch with local residents and are keeping them informed of the situation."

6. That was my wife's immediate reaction, too
"Why do they have to link everything to terrorism? There can't be just fires anymore?" She's not even very political, but she gets what's going on.
