There are people out there who think the WMDs got smuggled out of Iraq or that we got back at Saddam for what he "did to us on 9/11."

What really sounds more ridiculous?

1. Well, the real burning issue seemed to be whether or not he lied to Shirley McClain.
Well, for one poster, anyway. :-) MKJ

2. don't forget the people who believe in...
immaculate conception, heaven, hell, adam and eve and snakes, that some guy rose from the dead... need I go on?
I think it's more logical and believable to believe in UFOs.

3. It's a total non-issue drummed up by the MSM.
Kucinich can be attacked about his electability, his lack of an Iowa campaign office, his actual positions, or anything of substance. But the UFO thing is rubbish. If you're going to bash our guy, at least try to come up with something that actually matters.

4. Why is this an issue at all?
So freaking what. I guess I need to go find the thread or threads you are talking about. I just can't believe that this is an issue with everything that is happening on this planet let alone what is going on in this country.

6. The only reason this was brought up was because

The only reason this was brought up was because Kucinich had called into question the sanity of your pResident and the Mainstream Media wanted to make him out to be a whacko because he claimed he saw UFOs (which they implied was alien spacecraft and alien beings).

That was the objective but it failed miserably because of the outstanding support Dennis got for his impeachment resolution - the only sane thing which was done by a "Democrat" last week. But the majority of other Democrat politicians showed their lack of moral fibre and stupidity both in the House and the Senate last week!

9. Nothing like a voice from outside our borders
To remind us all that in the rest of the developed world, Dennis Kucinich is mainstream. :)

8. I think we can do better than "not the craziest thing said by anyone ever."
That opens itself to the assertion "Yeah, all are batshit crazy ideas, and anyone who holds them is a loon."

A better response is "Who the fuck cares about UFOs? Let's talk healthcare."
