I think Dennis will rise in the polls in the next three weeks or so
I honestly believe that even with the MSM poking fun at, or ignoring what Dennis did yesterday, they can't totally suppress his courageous stand. And I do think that we'll see that reflected in a rise in the polls for him. No, I don't expect it to be meteoric, but I expect it to be noticiable.

And we can help. I just donated to Dennis for the 2nd time. The first time, I donated to 2 other candidates. This time I only donated to Dennis.

Here's what I'd like to see Dennis do for the next few weeks: Spend most of his time in Iowa and NH, and really go for votes in those two states in order to build momentum. He won't win, but if does better than the pundits expect, he can have a big impact, and we can send a loud message.

1. I certainly agree.
I get sick to death of the so-called pundits marginalizing and poking fun at Dennis. He's been my candidate since 2003 and, while I'm realistic about his chances too, I really believe that we need his voice, since he addresses issues that the so-called "frontrunners" are too worried about their standing in the polls to address. DK forces these issues into the national dialogue and that's invaluable.:patriot:

Dennis has always had the courage to speak out, spoke out against the Iraq war since the beginning, voted his conscience, despite accusations of being "unpatriotic," or worse. This country needs Dennis Kucinich now, more than ever, and I'm grateful that he's still there and still the one with the courage to tell it like it is...:patriot:

2. I think you might be right. He won't win, but his voice is important.
If only the fatboyTimmys would ask him real questions, instead of Woo Woo UFO bullshit ones.

3. I don't see it...
there may be a barely noticable bump, I think Ron Paul's success will overshadow him.

5. Well, no doubt paul has captured the space alloted by the MSM
for quirky third tier candidate, largely on his fund raising prowess, but I think Dennis could start to nab some of that. We'll see.

9. The stories coming out of New hampshire will be Paul on the Repub side and Kucinich on our side. The
stories coming out of Iowa will be Huckabee on the Repub side and Edwards on our side.

6. Agreed! I don't think Iowa is structured to accurately measure Dennis's support, but I think he'll
beat expectations in New Hampshire.

10. Cali, you are surprising.
Having come close to putting you on ignore a number of times, which I managed to resist the temptation, you up and do something like this.

Thank you for recognizing that DK is an important candidate who has a message that needs to be carried into the convention.

Oh, and when he hits 3rd in the polls, everything changes.

11. I've long said I planned to vote for Kucinich in my primary
but it was because I wanted to send a message of dissatisfaction with the other candidates and the status quo. I've had my doubts that Dennis is running a serious campaign, and I still don't think he's running a good one, but yesterday he showed true courage and he made a stand that we desperately needed made. That goes a long way with me.
