Kucinich's resolution to the floor for a debate. The Democrats should have done it...but, if it takes all these vote switches by Republicans...fine by me.

Let's have the debate and hear the repukes defend Cheney. If the Democrats are smart, when it comes to the floor, they should ALL vote to impeach, and send it to the Senate for trial.

:woohoo:

On edit: I called Hoyer and sent a Message asking him not to bring the motion to table. I then called back after I saw the voting take place, and said to cancel the first message and give him a second one...that he's a damned traitor.

I go to pick up my daughter at school, and come home and see the vote switching by the pukes.

Glad to see this motion going forward.

Now, let's see someone move to refer the motion to the Judiciary Committee for investigation, or simply vote to impeach. Either way...good news.

2. If the Democrats were smart, you bet
But they aren't, one, and a one hour debate isn't near enough to expose Cheney's crimes.

3. Exactly.
At the very least, this resolution DOES deserve a debate.

5. I feel the same way, but now have some trepidation about
the Bush/Cheney enabling Democrats throwing roadblocks in the way of meaningful debate.

6. I'll tell you one thing...
it will now get some press, and the media will have to start talking about it!
