Press writes off Hillary, public disagrees

I agree, the 'press'-----blowhards---made-are making way to much of one small part of the debate.

Press writes off Hillary, public disagrees

Look, I'm carrying no water for Hillary. While I don't think her nomination would be the end of civilization, she's also only fourth or fifth on my wish list (we've got a strong field, really).

But the reaction to Hillary's debate performance has been way out of whack with, well, her debate performance.

And while we'll see much more polling in the aftermath of that debate, I'm sure, the first numbers bear zero relationship to the emerging media CW.

Tuesday night’s debate was not Hillary Clinton’s finest moment of the campaign season, but there has been little or no immediate damage to her standing in the national polls. In fact, if anything, support for Clinton has ticked up a bit since she stumbled on an answer to questions about drivers licenses for illegal aliens.

1. They are ALWAYS going to do this. I think it's in their frikkin mission statements.
War On Anyone Named Clinton. The thing is, I think by now the public has caught on to their game. And they'll continue to do it, and HRC will continue to be unflappable, and the public will develop at least a grudging respect.

7. Don't kid yourself, they'd smear any Dem candidate whose the front runner
Remember the "Osama, oh, I meant Obama" stuff and the flap over John Edwards' haircuts. They are just warming up their swiftboats for any Dem candidate. This time around, people are more worried about the economy and their own lives that these smear tactics aren't going to work.

3. I'm not a Hillary supporter but,
I think the media is seeing just how much influence they have
in the polling that takes place during the campaign season. The
media has successfully convinced many Americans that Saddam was
responsible for 911. If the media can convince Americans to support
different candidates at different times in the polling process, they
will prove what a valuable asset they are to the upcoming dictatorship.

Sorry, kinda crazy this morning, have not had my coffee yet. :)

6. Uh, Kos.... we DON'T have a strong field.
It's milquetoast.

Some of us don't like anyone running in either party.
