I'm incredibly impressed at how conservatives got Quallcom Park fixed in such a short time
Just a few days after the incredible devastation of the San Diego Charger football stadium by wildfires, equal to or worse then what happened to the Super Dome in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, the patriotic conservatives got the stadium up and running quickly so that a football game was played there Sunday. Its really incredible what those conservatives can do to our country. Just listening to right wing radio last week one got the impression that there was no doubt the repairs would be made to Quallcom which received equal destruction as the Super Dome because conservatives were in charge. Gosh, its just so great how they get the word out.

1. Well of course!
I'll tell you, once I saw the footage of Dick Cheney flipping girders up to George W., who was catching them in one hand while riveting them in place with the other, I just knew that all was going to be as right as rain San Diego. And when I remembered how George, wearing our uniform, threw out the first pitch at the 2003 Series (oh, thank you Fox!), how could our world be anything but sweetness and light forever? As soon as we exterminate the last of those fucking liberals and Ay-rabs, how blissful we will all be!

2. Yeah, why didn't the Saints just play in the Superdome the Sunday after Katrina?
Probably because they were liberals, and waited for the GOVERNMENT to fix everything for them.

4. I have a slight
appreciation for them being the team of Lance Bamby Alworth, former Arkansas Razorback. I also went to a Charger-Steeler game while on leave in San Diego December 1972. As I recall the Chargers got crushed.

I was perusing an old bookstore last week and found "Red Scorpion, the War Patrols of the USS Rasher." Its next on line for my to read list.

Good book, The Rasher sank a carrier when commanded by Hank Munson, near the Phillipines

6. Chief, I assume you are being sarcastic
If not, your post is not only fraught with inaccuracies, but is also a little insulting to those of us who are quite proud that volunteers and local relief agencies did what the government couldn't.

When the news showed the field being painted Friday to be ready for a game Sunday, I was moved to tears.

7. Incredibly
sarcastic. The right wing noise machine last week made apples and oranges comparisons between Quallcom and the Super Dome. I was just making the obvious extension of "their" argument and "their" arguments are fraught with inaccuracies on a daily basis. New Orleans has been chock full of Volunteers and relief agencies for more then two years now. It is incredible heart warming.
