Hilter used Occult imagery to justify his rise. The History Channel uses Nostradamus...
There's a new one on now:

"Nostradamus predicted 9/11...now he predicts a new Arab attack...."

So maybe now you see why I'm not a big fan of superstitious nonsense...

23. I believe in many things I don't understand
I don't understand how TV works but I believe TV to be real. I don't understand Quantum Physics but I believe it to be real. I suffer from things I do understand like facism and the Bush* criminal thugs. The loss of our constitution and the failure of our Democratic Congress. I don't suffer from believing in UFOs which in fact are fairly well documented. Credible people that would be believed in any court room in a murder trial suddenly are not believed if they say they saw something strange in the air. I suffer from people that condemn others for their beliefs when they have no better knowlege themselves..

33. I believe there are people that somehow know certain things that can not be easily explained
Whether Nostradamus was one of those people I don't really know. IMO the way he worded his writings a person could say anything about what he wrote. Nothing is exact like say Edgar Casey was. He was a man that defies explanation. There are many things that I find hard to explain and I find man's arrogance to be really absurd. Man does not have all the answers no matter what people here on this forum proclaim.

28. Nothing wrong with saying you saw a UFO...
It means you saw something, or think you saw something that is not explained. So far so good.

It's when you say that these are, say, alien space craft, that you run into contradictions with widely held knowledge. So, in order for that to be true, other thing that we know to be true, have to be false. So what do you think is false; relativity? conservation of energy?

2. Every weekend they seem to descend into dumbfuckery
and it's especially dumb around religious holidays of various descriptions.

Churchmen have been tying current events to Nostradamus ever since he wrote the twaddle.

Funny, nobody has ever successfully used his rubbish to predict anything!

12. I went searching for those who might have watched this
yeah, to me what's most incredible is the audacity of them showing the horrors and how it's all "aligned"/destined to happen, and in the last two minutes you get a quick little fix on the fact we can change things if we want to. LOL

Flashing crumbling towers and Saddam's face, then the anti christ and Osama's face, it's interpretations of these paintings which are ONLY interpretations (opposing my view of it's meaning) as what it really means. All of it propaganda.

They believe, whomever "they" are, that we are stupid, REALLY stupid people.

What's most frightening is we have more lies. I'm so sick of lies.

15. Here, I'll do one. They're easy.
In the land of sandy mountains, the king is turned,
Though twice evaded, exposed at last.
Many times feared, many cry,
Swiftly comes the lightning.

Now, should sometime in the next few years, any of the following happen, let it be known I totally predicted it, and that this poem totally applies:

1. OBL caught
2. OBL killed
3. OBL launches another terror attack
4. Iran tests nuke
5. Iran launches nuke
6. Airstrike on Iran
7. Assassination attempt on Iranian president
8. Turkey captures leader of PKK
9. Bush impeached for lies regarding Iraq
10. Coup in Central Asian nation
11. Basically, any event involving a leader of any sort, a middle-eastern nation of any sort, and violence of any sort.

it's not a valid comparison. A valid comparison would be if it was running on all networks, repeatedly.

I did see an ad for it somewhere & just rolled my eyes. The History Channel is worse than Fox News when it comes to fear-mongering.
