3. Really wanted to go with the dog photo

because I love dogs. But I had to keep true to the theme, and the best shot for "Spooky" in this thread is the black cat eyes. Sad to say, in this thread, cats realy do rule and dogs drool.

What kind of dog? I can only see his face, but I've seen that expression on Charlie, the other dog who I live with, and he's an Airedale, very large, but also very sweet. My little guys are Brussels Griffons, very small and unusual, but both from rescue...:loveya:

Thank you. Rhiannon did shed, but I found out from my vet's assistant that long-haired cats have different dander than short-haired, which explains why she was able to sleep on my pillow with no allergic reaction from me, unlike my other cats. She was very special to me, an incredible personality, but I lost her in 2001, after fighting the good fight...;(

19. I'm sorry to hear you lost Rhiannon!

It's always hard to lose a pet, but some pets hold a special niche in our hearts more than others. When I lost my psycho cat, Harley, I mourned; she was psycho but she loved me. But I wasn't torn apart. When I lost my dog Ziggy, it was like losing a child; I cried for weeks, and my SO and I broke up. So I feel for you! :hug:

As best as we can tell, Bear is mostly chocolate lab, but has some shepard and maybe some chow in him. He has a lab personality, very laid back when his puppy side isn't romping. (He's about 2 years and 2 months old, so still very puppyish.)

I've wanted an airedale ever since I was a kid watching the Thin Man movies on TV. Asta!
