Taylor, who was White House political director for two years and deputy to former senior adviser Karl Rove, testified in July before a Senate panel investigating whether the firings of several U.S. prosecutors last year were done at the White House's direction and for improper political purposes.
She left the White House this summer.
She is an employee Ames, Iowa-based Renewable Energy Group and registered as a lobbyist in August, said Randy Skoglund, a principal with Revere Strategy Group LLC. Since July, Taylor, who is from Dubuque, Iowa, also has been a partner in BlueFront Group, a new advertising and public affairs firm for corporations, trade associations and other groups.
She will lobby on legislation related to promoting biofuels and other renewable fuels, reducing carbon emissions and promoting energy efficiency, according to the form posted online Oct. 9 by the Senate's public records office.
