Tornadoes/Thunderstorms, Louisville, KY & other Midwest Locations
Who else is getting wild weather tonight?

In the Louisville area, we've seen one line of storms come through, with at least 2 more waves on the way. My understanding is that the line of storms extends from somewhere near Chicago and south to parts of Kentucky. Who else is affected by this storm system?

A tornado just passed through my city (Owensboro, KY), but apparently it didn't touch down. According to the doppler radar signature, it was definitely a tornado.

Here are some photos of tornados in my area taken earlier today:

3. We had strong storms and lots of rain in Biloxi
Big lightning and some wind, but all the tornados were north and east of us.

5. The weather around here is getting really interesting.
Youngest daughter lives in Georgetown, IN and there were several tornadoes in the air but didn't touch down and they are getting an all clear for this line of storms at this time. Who knows what the next line will bring?

Now the stuff that was just in Owensboro is headed my way. Looks like we are in for some fun times tonight. October and we are having fricking tornadoes.

TV weather men are just going ape shit crazy. Just moved the storms into Hardinsburg and Breck County into Grayson County about 30 miles from here headed toward the Louisville area. Just my luck - I'm right in the path between the two. Still no reports of touch downs, keep your fingers crossed it stays that way.

My WAVE 3.com Personal Forecast

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- A line of thunderstorms is pounding western portions of the state Thursday night. At least four people are injured.

Captain Jeff Jones with the Daviess County Sheriff's Office says four people were hurt when the trailer they were in suffered extensive damage just east of Owensboro. Jones says their names and the nature of their injuries were not immediately available.

The National Weather Service reports that a possible tornado was reported in Sebree, Kentucky, about 20 miles south of Henderson. State police say there were reports of damage in the area, but could not confirm whether a tornado touched down.

Tornado warnings were issued throughout western Kentucky and southern Indiana ahead of a cold front.
