Question for Leahy and Schumer and the rest- how in hell is Mukasey the AG we need?

After todays hearings, how can they work to put him for the job? We need a complete opposite of gonzales- mukasey is far from the complete opposite.

He appears like he's nothing more than a mild change from gonzales. This whole thing smells.

Just another Bush toady. I heard some clips from the hearing on Democracy Now and it is clear that this guy is in favor of giving the President almost unlimited powers to detain Americans for any reason without charging them. He would not answer Feinstein's questions.

What kind of lawyer is opposed to habeas corpus? He should be disbarred, not made Attorney General.
