Wisconsin GOP chair faces charges in enticement of teenage boy

by PageOneQ

Brown County GOP Chairman Donald Fleischman has resigned his post, says a spokesperson, after being accused of enticement and fondling of an underage boy, reports the Green Bay Press-Gazette Saturday.

Fleischman, 37, is free after posting a $20,000 bond on September 28. "My client is innocent of the charges," says attorney Jeff Jazgar, who "declined to discuss specifics."

"Our plan is to get some witnesses to testify and present enough information to dismiss the case."

The boy was found by police in Fleischman's home on two occasions in late 2006 while being sought as a runaway from Ethan House, a home for at-risk youth. Now 17, he says he stayed with Fleischman at his house and a cabin, where he was provided with alcohol and cannabis, and regularly fondled.

Brown County Republican Party chairman faces sex charges

Fleischman's attorney denies allegations

The chairman of the Republican Party in Brown County faces criminal charges for allegedly fondling a 16-year-old Ethan House runaway and providing the boy with beer and marijuana late last year.

Donald Fleischman, 37, of Allouez, was charged last month with two counts of child enticement, two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a child and a single charge of exposing himself to a child.

He was summoned to Brown County court for his initial appearance on Sept. 28. He is free having posted a signature bond as his promise to return to court.

...snip

Fleischman opened the door and allowed officers inside where they found a 16-year-old boy hiding on the floor of a walk-in closet wearing only underwear and a T-shirt, the complaint said.

...snip

The boy told police that when he would go to bed, Fleischman would fondle him and that on one occasion he awoke to find Fleischman at the foot of his bed masturbating.

9. I just went to the WI forum to find the thread. It seem the media isn't reporting this.
Here's a link to the thread in the WI forum: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=186x22521

It sounds like it's time for DU to be the media.

11. The hypocrisy is that the GOP came out for the "marriage amendment"
in Wisconsin in 2006 which amended our state constitution to make it even harder for gay couples or heterosexual nonmarried couples to establish the rights of married couples. The amendment passed 60-40 thanks to lots of illegal church involvement in politics. The GOP is so "pro-family" anti-abortion, anti-stem cell research, anti-gay, blah, blah, blah.

But when somebody is having a sex scandal with a child or a woman who is not their wife, or domestic abuse is going on- guess what, its always a GOP candidate.

22. Which may explain why.....
....this story was dumped into the news cycle on a Saturday. Even though this miscreant was charged last week and the crime(s) were committed in November 2006!!!!

Oh yeah, I'd say they have a lot of control over the press.....
