Is anyone listening to Pat Buchanan
ranting against the Nobel Peace Prize. Says it's Swedish socialists pandering to the cause de jour. I swear this fugger is mad.
These people are shameless including the moronic host.

11. He did, he called them (as you said) "Swedish socialists"
I backed up the DVR and rewatched it. Pat said "Swedish socialists" three times.

20. I missed the second round
I had to take the dogs (three of them) out for their morning walk. I'd try the DVR trick again but hubby got up and has been flipping channels (for Gore news) in my absence.

Here he goes again with Alex the twit egging him on. They're now citing McCain's objection saying that the Burmese monks should have been given the award.

27. this help?
But it was from his father that he learned the combativeness with which he has confronted the world.
William Baldwin Buchanan taught sons how to box, and he expected them never to shy from a fight.

I can't find the story now but I remember reading about how his house was "famous"
as the house where Jewish Kids tried to avoid because of the Buchanan boys.

7. Yes. Let nobody ever think he is anything other than an NWO conspiracy theorist
In addition, people *really* need to be educated as to the fact that Thatcher/Reagan did not "win" the Cold War.

12. He's trying to bring back the 1950s, it's not working
the republican spin machine is broken, the 20% of the national income that they siphoned off the poor for the top 2% is going
to be taken away by a democratic majority. People now realize that newt's contract for america was a contract on America.
It's been government Of the Profit, By the Profit and For the Profit ever since 1994.

16. Pat Buchanan is evil
I always hated him, but a few years ago he wrote something in defence of LePen, one of the most evil and dangerous creatures in Europe; and since then, I've hated his GUTS!

18. Idiots do what idiots do
Something I've noticed about the American Right: Everything to the left of Reagan is described as "socialist". For added bonus points, they'll often then try to claim that socialism is also fascist. The truly remarkable (and worryingly insane) will often try this in the same sentance.

points dinegrating the value of receiving such an honor.

Could it be the GOP starting at Faux do not want Gore

26. Charge him with lack of patriotism for not being supportive of
an American being awarded!

He's jealous of Al Gore, Jr. Pat's never accomplished anything this big in his life. Yeah, he's written speeches, books, articles. But he hasn't been internationally regarded so well as Gore and this group.
